Soltau-Lüneburg Training Area (SLTA) Keyring
The Soltau-Lüneburg Training Area (SLTA) was a key British and Canadian military training area in North Germany, used from 1963 to 1994 during the Cold War.
Governed by the Soltau-Lüneburg Agreement between the Federal Republic of Germany, the United Kingdom, and Canada, the area was located on the Lüneburg Heath in Lower Saxony. It became especially well known for intensive training involving tanks and other armoured vehicles, and was a familiar name to generations of BAOR soldiers.
This keyring is a tribute to an important but often overlooked part of Cold War military history, ideal for those who trained there, served in Germany, or have an interest in British and NATO armoured forces.
Produced using a high-quality dye sublimation process, the design is permanently infused into a rigid MDF blank, ensuring a crisp, durable, and long-lasting finish.
