The term NATO standard refers to tea with milk and two sugars, it is thought to date back to the 1950’s when NATO members began trying to standardize parts for both European and American forces.
But nothing will ever taste like the tea you drank sitting in your trench, or on the rifle range. It tasted different to any other tea, purely down to the condition of the Quarter Masters sock it was brewed in. It’s not the same without mud, half a forestry block and a dead mozzie floating in it. Joking aside, the tea we’ve selected I’m sure you’ll find is excellent. It was chosen from a large selection of teas by veterans of all services.
